Introducing Rumor Control headquarters ...
Inside Liberty Watch Today - March 21, 2006

With the silly season starting, Liberty Watch will be providing you with the inside of what's going on. Here's this week's installment of the latest rumors.

It seems the rumors might be true that Assemblyman Bob Seale (R-Las Vegas) is looking to run against his friend Sen. Sandra Tiffany (R-Las Vegas). Sources close to Liberty Watch say that Seale has been meeting with gamers at least twice in the last week. Our little birdie informs us he had breakfast at the famed Veranda room inside the 4 seasons hotel with big wigs from MGM MIRAGE and later was seen lunching with gaming giant Steve Wynn. Seale better hope Tiffany doesn't catch him in the act, or it's going to be curtains for Bobby boy.

Tim Cory is quietly calling Senators to let them know he'll mount a race against popular Sen. Barbara Cegavske. Sources tell Liberty Watch that Steve Wark is behind recruiting Mr. Cory because Cegavske cut Wark out of the contract she signed with grassroots maven Billy Rogers to manage her ground game in her upcoming re-election. My guess is that Tim was suckered into the race and has bit off more then he can chew.

With Chanos out, who's in? Well it's not going to be Sen. Mark Amodei. He's running for re-election. He's happy just were he's at.

Who's the guy running against Scott Sibley? Can't tell you yet, but the way things are going, my prediction is that Sibley will take a pass on re-election. Why? No human can take that much meat grinding.

That's all from rumor control this week.
