Titus turns to UNLV for help

Two years ago, the UNLV Students for Academic Freedom and the UNLV College Libertarians released a report that revealed that UNLV is more liberal than Cal-Berkeley. Of 125 professors selected for the study, 91 percent of those affiliated with a party were registered Democrat or Green. At UC Berkeley, 89.4 percent of the staff is Democrat or Green. Now there's hard evidence that this liberalism isn't limited to university teachers - it penetrates the administration.

Sources close to Liberty Watch confirm that Democrat Dina Titus cannibalized the university system for staffers. Titus, who works at UNLV, has recruited UNLV spokeswoman Hilarie Grey to assist in her run for governor.

Who's Hilarie Grey? She's the same gal, who defended the university for obstructing signature gatherers seeking to repeal 2003's insane tax hikes. She said gatherers were outside the free speech zone. She's also the same person who stood up for the university when it tried to punish professor Hans Hoppe for a statement he made about time preferences and homosexuals in a 2004 class lecture.

We don't mind Titus removing liberals from our publicly funded schools. That's doing Nevada a favor. We just wanted to point out who Titus wants as her mouthpiece for her governor's race. Yep, this is the same gal that the university used when they were chasing citizens off the public campus for exercising their First Amendment rights and the same one it had when trying to silence a professor in the classroom.
