Union Boss Dreaming for Control
BY DOUG FRENCH
D. Taylor has a dream. On the eve of the start of negotiations between casino giant MGM Mirage and the Culinary Workers Union, Local 226 and Bartenders Union, Local 165, Taylor released his "I have a Dream" outline to his friend Jon Ralston. Ralston in turn graciously posted Taylor's dreams online.

An ethics infraction
BY GEORGE HARRIS
To make it as a journalist must be challenging. After all, the Fourth Estate must press tough questions to get straight answers, know the important contacts, and have the know-how to wordsmith material for the public to easily understand. This investigative ability requires talent and tough character - unless you're Molly Ball and Jon Ralston.

Arthur Schlesinger R.I.P.
BY DOUG FRENCH
One of big government's history writers died last week, double Pulitzer Prize winner Arthur Schlesinger, Jr. A prolific scribbler, Schlesinger not only wrote books, op-eds and feature articles, but also was a speechwriter for Adlai Stevenson, John F. Kennedy and Robert Kennedy, was on JFK's staff from 1961-1964 and was considered the intellectual-in-residence at Camelot. In his last years he was a contributing blogger at The Huffington Post.

Legislative Bank Robbers
BY DOUG FRENCH
Bank robbers in Las Vegas are hard to understand. Why on earth would someone go to trouble of going into a bank branch, wave a gun around for a dozen surveillance cameras to record for posterity, and then have to make a hasty getaway, dodging traffic, all for a lousy thousand bucks or so.

Gibbons shows vision of Nevada
BY GEORGE HARRIS
After reading Nevada's liberal media elites and their comments on Jim Gibbon's State of the State, I thought, "What has this guy done that is so wrong?" The Review Journal's Erin Neff and Molly Ball can't even pretend to be balanced, still hurting from their friend Dina Titus' loss to Gibbons. Then there's Billy Vassiliadis' barking Chihuahua Jon Ralston, who has been nipping at the Governor's ankles even before he was sworn in as Governor.
