MINGLE WITH THE MAJORITY
Join your peers at the Conservative Leadership Conference Sept. 18-22
Probably the most important thing Liberty Watch readers should know about the 2008 Conservative Leadership Conference is that it will be bigger and better than last year’s event … and this time it will be held in Las Vegas.
CLC 2008 is again being co-hosted by my organization, Citizen Outreach, and Grover Norquist of Americans for Tax Reform. The Honorary Conference Chairman is once again Rep. John Shadegg of Arizona — arguably the only remaining member in the House of Representatives from that storied GOP class of ’94 who hasn’t “gone native” and forgotten why he was elected.
The four-day event will be held at the Tuscany Suites Resort just off the Strip, beginning Sept. 18. Confirmed speakers include:
- Bob Barr, Libertarian Party candidate for President
- Rich Galen of Mullings.com
- John Fund of the Wall Street Journal
- Richard Viguerie, author of “Conservatives Betrayed”
- Pat Toomey of the Club for Growth
- Ward Connerly of the American Civil Rights Institute
- Former U.N. Ambassador Alan Keyes
- Florida congressional candidate Lt. Col. Allen West
- Rick Berman of the Center for Union Facts
- Saul Anuzis, Chairman of Michigan Republican Party
- Alan Gura, Counsel of Record, DC vs. Heller gun rights case
- Paul Jacob of the Sam Adams Alliance
- Former Arizona Congressman J.D. Hayworth
- Chris Simcox of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps
- And more who have been added since press time
In addition, a number of conservative talk-show hosts, including Roger Hedgecock of San Diego and our own Heidi Harris of Las Vegas, are planning “live” broadcasts from CLC ’08.
There will also be a conservative Grassroots Activist School on Thursday by the Leadership Institute (followed by a poolside welcoming reception), as well as conservative blogger workshops on Sunday conducted by the Sam Adams Alliance.
Plus, CLC ’08 will once again honor exemplary conservatives with our annual Barry Goldwater, Lyn Nofziger and Blogger of the Year awards.
The closing banquet on Saturday night features the conference’s annual “State of the Conservative Union Address” by a national conservative leader and is hosted by the world-class Venetian Resort.
Conference passes to attend all four exciting days of this premier, be-there-or-be-square event are only $97. Student passes are available for just $35 per person. Or attend the entire conference plus all four of the special-meal events for only $297. A limited number of VIP passes are also available (see website registration page for details).
Registration is now open. And space is still available for a limited number of exhibitors and conservative organization co-sponsors.
