My conscience is my guide, not laws
Mother Nature is one of the best terrorists. A tornado just wiped out a town in Kansas; we get earthquakes, floods, lightning and the tsunami that killed more than 200,000 people. There was a woman who died while serving life in prison here in Nevada because she was mad at white people and drove her car onto a sidewalk upstate, mowing down about a dozen people. A few years ago a man walked into a grocery store on Sahara Avenue near Arville (I believe it was an Albertsons) with a shotgun and began killing people because he wanted to. A buddy of mine was in a bar one night in the Bronx and some guy was mad about something and firebombed the place (a glass bottle filled with gasoline, a.k.a. Molotov cocktail), killing between 75 and 80 people trapped in the bar. Guns are the best deterrent to crime and criminals [The greatest deterrent, April]? Well, at least you got something with Gods will.
When it comes to laws, all they do is to keep the honest people honest; the rest are going to do what they want to do. For example, the governor of New Jersey was in a car speeding at 90 miles per hour. He didnt want to wear a seat belt. One day, Mayor Oscar was in a car accident with his wife driving. He didnt have his seat belt on.
I let my conscience be my guide. The main thing is that I wake up and get another day.

UMC is a financial landfill. If only someone could prove it
George Harris is on to something in his cover story [UMC on fire, May]. The problem with his piece is it is based only on opinion and speculation. Its worthwhile, but not enough to instigate change. True investigative material in needed.
Hopefully, a real reporter takes Georges lead and uncovers the financial landfill that is UMC.
