Liberty Watch did a fine job on our northern Nevada senator
Today I saw your magazine at a friend's house and I really enjoyed the story on Maurice Washington. He's a fine senator.

Liberty Watch is OK in my book, but Jarret Keene isn't
I was just reading your April 2006 edition of Liberty Watch, given to me by Regent Mark Alden. I am ashamed to say I did not know about your publication and was pleasantly surprised by the content. It contained thought-provoking articles. I plan on sending my check in today for the yearly subscription.
The only negative factor that I observed was from Jarret Keene's Dining section. I have written past letters to the editor about Mr. Keene when he smeared the "Lucky," a Las Vegas novel written by Lee Barnes, as not being accurate after Mr. Keene having been in Las Vegas for a few years.
Mr. Keene sent my blood pressure through the roof when he described, "The Coachman's Inn as being darker than Dick Cheney's soul." If that wasn't bad enough, he described the coffee as being "darker than Dick Cheney's soul." I realize that Mr. Keene is a typical liberal personality who doesn't have the ability to present a credible argument. He can only slam the vice president of the United States of America while comparing two breakfast nooks on Eastern Avenue.
I admire the balanced approach that your magazine has taken, having opinions from both sides; however, Mr. Keene makes me realize that debating liberals is like fighting an unarmed opponent.

French is terrible! Gibbons was protecting the people in 1993 and still does today
How can you have any dignity, Doug French? Gibbons has always fought for the common person, even back in 1993 when he looked to put a stop to greedy people taking advantage of us common people trying to see a show. Not all of us have the chance to miss work to stand in line for tickets, and because of this, we should not be penalized by money mongers like you. I'm a hard worker and if I want to see a game for what the "free market" says the game should be seen for, I should not have to deal with companies/people who don't have day jobs like me.
Jim Gibbons fought for his country and today he fights for the people!
